Interested in fonts with simple, thick, and bold letterings, then Plateia will be the best option for your typography as it contains characters that are easy to read and straightforward. This will give you a playful, friendly, and modern feel.

Plateia offers capitalized A to Z letters, numbers, and many symbols without lowercase letters. Use them in any design you have in mind, from books, websites, apps, posters games, and wherever you want something informal.

Plateia is a new font family created primarily for display purposes. I’ve designed 6 weights, but have so far only had the opportunity to develop the bold weight into a working font.

Plateia Bold is the heaviest weight and comes with over 1,200 characters, including Latin, Latin-1 Supplement, Greek (monotonic and polytonic) and Cyrillic glyphs. The style is all-caps, with optically-adjusted small caps mapped to the lower case characters. It is offered here free for personal use. If you would like to use it for commercial purposes, please purchase a license. The cost is $5 (US) payable by clicking the ‘donate’ button.
