Let it go if your writing aim is to design posters, branding, flyers, logotypes, movies, or anything else, this bu Scarecrow Pirates font while based on out-of-date artwork design can act as a savior for your writing designs. With its pointy formation, it can bring a reflection of the atmosphere in your typography.

bu Scarecrow is based on the penwork by Walter Crane. I’m not sure when he did the artwork but it was around the beginning of the 1900’s, give or take a decade or two. I did a little modification to the font and had to manufacture a character or two for a full alphabet. I added the numbers just to give some functionality. The punctuations, as few as they are, were manufactured just so there are some.
